Mosaicist artist Ida Barazzutti, born and bred in Pinzano, with her own artisan workshop in the piazza and trained at the Giovanni Sello art academy in Udine, has dedicated over 30 years to the nobile art of mosaic.
A versatile artisan and artist, allows Ida to create large mosaics using mosaic glass (smalti) and is commissioned to create pieces the world over. She also makes decorative objects for the home, pendants and rings in micro-mosaic using murrine and souvenirs for visitors travelling through the area, made with stones from the nearby Tagliamento river. During Cantine Aperte you can visit Ida and see her artwork whilst she creates micro-mosaics.
