The huge success gained by the competition could be easily demonstrated by the more than 5000 cartoons arrived in the last ten years in Friuli Venezia Giulia from 50 Countries around the world such as: Italy, Albany, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, China, Germany, India, Israel, Indonesia, Palestine, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Spain, Turkey and USA.
The event, strongly pursued by the President of the Movimento Turismo del Vino Mrs. Elda Felluga, was born in order to make the youths more aware of the “well drink” culture and of the quality and conscious consumption ethic. Spirito di Vino is a transversal communication tool, speaking through the scratched and universal language of satire. The competition is a perfect occasion to make the young artists express their ability and to make known the different meanings that wine has in their home countries. This give also the possibility to compare all the significances in order to create a common huge cultural background.
Cartoonists aged between 18 and 35, from Italy and abroad, will be able to enrole before 29th August directly filling in the enrolment form or sending their entries to our Secretary's Office:
